NFL Week Six Predictions

Atlanta Falcons @ Philadelphia Eagles

Both teams have a defense that's adept at generating picks, but Atlanta has the better QB.  In addition, the Eagles' defense is massively outmatched against the Falcons' run game, and I say the Falcons pick up a tough road win.
Prediction: Falcons

Kansas City Chiefs @ Houston Texans

The Chiefs may be pick happy, but Schaub is a veteran and his protection should hold up.  In addition, the Chiefs should face their toughest run defense in a while with Brian Cushing returning for the Texans.
Prediction: Texans

New Orleans Saints @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers

The Bucs have become completely dependent on the arm of Josh Freeman, and the Saints aren't going to lose against a one-dimensional team.
Prediction: Saints

Miami Dolphins @ Green Bay Packers

It took me a while to decide on this one, but Miami has been doing fairly well in terms of limiting sacks and the Packers are down Nick Barnett and Clay Matthews.  Rodgers will keep the Pack in this, but the Dolphins will finally bounce back if they can limit mistakes.  This is my upset of the week.
Prediction: Dolphins

San Diego Chargers @ St. Louis Rams

San Diego should win this game, but mistakes could lead to another upset.
Prediction: Chargers

Baltimore Ravens @ New England Patriots

The Ravens have too much offensive talent for this Pats team to deal with, and their defense should keep Brady and company from blowing it wide open.
Prediction: Ravens

Detroit Lions @ New York Giants

The Lions won't pass all over the Giants like they did against the Rams, and they won't score 44 points.  This Giants team will start to hit its stride with a win against the Lions
Prediction: Giants

Cleveland Browns @ Pittsburgh Steelers

Big Ben returns to complete a team that has been dominating on defense and in the rung game, the Browns should be an easy comeback game for him.
Prediction: Steelers

Seattle Seahawks @ Chicago Bears

The Seahawks haven't developed enough as an all-around team for me to pick them here, their offense isn't good enough to hang with Martz' so long as Cutler performs well coming back from injury, and they're sure to run into problems with the Bears' defense.  I know I said I'd stop picking my team to win every week, but so far it hasn't been a bad strategy, I'm 4-1.
Prediction: Bears

New York Jets @ Denver Broncos

I'm tempted to go with the Broncos as most teams that have beaten them have done it with a high powered offense and I wonder if the Jets can keep up.  I do think the Broncos' passing numbers will go down against this defense, though.
Prediction: Jets

Oakland Raiders @ San Francisco 49ers

The Raiders are a hungry team that are capitalizing on mistakes, the Niners are handing games to their opponents.  This could be a misfire, but I'm not picking the Niners again until they prove they can play smart and win a game.  This is my sleeper of the week.
Prediction: Raiders

Dallas Cowboys @ Minnesota Vikings

Tough call, but I have to go with the Cowboys here.  The Vikings are going to have QB issues no matter who starts, and the Cowboys should be able to get decent pressure on them.  The Cowboys aren't much better, but I say Miles Austin and Tony Romo pull this one out, if only by a small margin.
Prediction: Cowboys

Indianapolis Colts @ Washington Redskins

This is a hard game to call with so many players listed as questionable.  I'm going to got eh safe route and say the Colts win.  Still, this is my game of the week.
Prediction: Colts

Tennessee Titans @ Jacksonville Jaguars

The Titans should have the perfect formula for beating the Jaguars.  Their secondary will give Garrard headaches, and VY and CJ2K will beat them on the other side of the ball.
Prediction: Titans
