NFL Week Four Predictions

New York Jets @ Buffalo Bills

Three down, thirteen to go.
Prediction: Jets

Cincinnati Bengals @ Cleveland Browns

Bengals are turning it up after a slow start, Browns are living up to their expectations.
Predictions: Bengals

Baltimore Ravens @ Pittsburgh Steelers

This is a tough one to call.  I thought Baltimore was going to be on top of the division, but Pittsburgh has really turned up the play on defense.  Charlie Batch may have problems, but I think Flacco and that offense will have a down game against a dominant D.  This is my game of the week.
Prediction: Steelers

Denver Broncos @ Tennessee Titans

Both defenses are extremely good against the other team's strong points on offense.  Will CJ2k be the difference against the Broncos or will Kyle Orton have another 300+ yard game?  I wouldn't count on another breakdown like Tennessee took advantage of in New York.
Prediction: Broncos

Detroit Lions @ Green Bay Packers

Lions aren't going to beat Green Bay, at Green Bay, after a tough Packers loss.
Prediction: Packers

San Francisco 49ers @ Atlanta Falcons

The Niners might make a comeback, but it won't be this week.  The Falcons are coming off a big win against the Saints, they're not going to lose at home.
Prediction: Falcons

Carolina Panthers @ New Orleans Saints

The Saints need a bounceback game, and a weak division rival is just the thing to get them back into it.  Panthers are in for a long season.
Prediction: Panthers

Seattle Seahawks @ St. Louis Rams

Seahawks are looking really good.  I don't see how people are picking a team that beat the Chargers to beat the perennially bad Rams.  Rookie Earl Thomas could have a big day, and the Hawks should pull this one out.
Prediction: Seahawks

Indianapolis Colts @ Jacksonville Jaguars

I don't expect the Jaguars to make the most of homefield advantage.  They're slumping, and the Colts are not what they need to get back on track.
Prediction: Colts

Houston Texans @ Oakland Raiders

I didn't expect the Raiders to win this game before the season started, I don't expect them to win now that the Texans are surging and they're slumping.
Prediction: Texans

Washington Redskins @ Philadelphia Eagles

I thought the Eagles were going to be bad at the start of the season, but that was before Vick showed up.  The Redskins will be tough, but the Eagles have a ton of ways to beat them.
Prediction: Eagles

Arizona Cardinals @ San Diego Chargers

The Chargers are looking to get back on track, and they should against a weak quarterback in Derrick Anderson.
Prediction: Chargers

Chicago Bears @ New York Giants

I had a hard time with this game.  Make no mistakes, the Giants will get picks.  The problem I had was in part with how they played last week.  They'll be better this week, but I'm not going to pick them again until I see some marked improvement.  Between that and injuries, plus the ability of the Bears to adjust to different gameplans I still gotta go with my Bears.  This is my sleeper of the week.
Prediction: Bears

New England Patriots @ Miami Dolphins

The Patriots came within one possession of losing to the Bills, mostly because of C.J. Spiller.  The Dolphins have a great running game, and a terrific defense.  I think they'll take out the Patriots, and they're my upset of the week.
Prediction: Dolphins
